DC has registered their second consecutive win by crushing CSK in the match 7 of 13th season of Dream-11 IPL on Friday.
It was a battle between an experienced team and a team of young talents. Where CSK was having some big Cricket names in their squad, DC was playing with some young energetic talents and recorded a big win over team Chennai in Dubai by 44 runs. DC’s skipper Shreyas Iyer showed great captaincy throughout.
MS Dhoni won the toss for Chennai and decided to bowl first, but in the post-match interview he stated that there was no dew, and the plan to bowl first didn’t really help.
DC in the first innings had a good start, with the help of the young lad Prithvi Shaw who played a phenomenal inning of 64 runs off 43 balls, they achieved a fair and competitive target of (175/3) in 20 overs.
For CSK, again, Faf Du Plessis (43) played from one side to save his team but lost his wicket to Kagiso Rabada. Dhoni in this match too, came down the order, when the match was gone too far from his team.
The men in the yellow lost second game in the tournament, as DC with a great bowling attack restricted them to a total score of (131/7).
For DC the star bowler Kagiso Rabada took 3 wickets off 26 runs in his spell of four overs, and Anrich Nortje recorded 2 wickets off 21 runs.
CSK now has to work on their strategies, the openers didn’t perform well in both the matches and the fitness of Ambati Rayudu is a concern for the team.
