The BMC had served actress Kangana Ranaut a notice on Monday regarding illegal constructions at her property in Mumbai. Assistant Municipal Commissioner of BMC, Vinayak Vispute informed that there were about 8-10 structural violations in Ranaut’s office, against which her property will be demolished.
“We will carry-out demolition work over the 8-10 structural violations carried out at Kangana Ranaut’s office in Bandra’s Pali Hill today. Post the demolition process, further action will be taken legally,” he said in a statement.
In the past few days, Kangana has actively taken to twitter to accuse the Maharashtra state government of being equivalent to PoK. On Monday, she posted the notice sent by BMC and thanked her fans for building pressure on the government while saving her property from getting bulldozed.
Today the BMC had gathered outside her property to demolish it while the actress once again took to twitter to call it, ‘death of democracy’.
Kangana and Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut have been engaged in a war of words since she had compared Mumbai to Pakistan Occupied Kashmir following the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The Shiv Sena leader in response asked her not to return to Maharashtra since she has been living with family due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Kangana is returning to Mumbai today. According to the latest updates, she tweeted the photos of the demolition of her property in Mumbai, which she compared to the demolition of Ram Mandir and wrote, ” Babur and his army #deathofdemocracy”.
