Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accompanied by Chief of Defence Staff Bipin Rawat and Army Chief General MM Naravane, paid an unannounced visit to a forward position near Nimu today days after Galwan Valley clash with China.
Reportedly, Defence minister Rajnath Singh was scheduled his visit to Ladakh today, but PM Modi made an unannounced visit to interact with Army, Air force, and ITBP.
Starting from Siachen in 2014, soon after he became the PM, he made many such trips to the border areas.

India also banned 59 Chinese apps amid the border tensions citing the security concerns of these apps.
