Twitterati trend #MunnaBhaiMBBS after PM Modi’s Leh visit

Twitter has been flooded with hashtag #MunnaBhaiMBBS after PM Modi visited Leh yesterday.

Users are comparing the military hospital that PM Modi visited with the hospital shown in the movie Munna Bhai MBBS.

Congress leader Abhishek Dutt said that instead of doctors, photographers were there in the hospital when PM Modi visited the injured Army personnel.

“From which angle does this look like a hospital. There is no drip bottle, medicine, or water bottle beside the beds, there is a photographer in place of a doctor. But, all our soldiers are healthy and fine by God’s grace. Bharat Mata Ki Jai,” he said in a tweet.

Congress leader Salman Nizami twitted saying Prime Minister Modi was doing “photo-op with jawans wounded in Chinese incursion.”

“Mr Modi was born to lie. First he says no one entered our territory. Then he does photo-op with jawans wounded in Chinese incursion. Of-course Godi media will do his damage control. But I guess the damage to our territory & sovereignty are enormous!,” he wrote on Twitter.

Prime Minister Modi made a surprise visit to a forward post in Ladakh and interacted with troops days after the June 15 border clash with China in which 20 soldiers were killed in the line of duty.
