Former DMK leader VP Duraisamy appoints as Vice-President of Tamil Nadu BJP

Former Deputy speaker of Tamilnadu who recently removed from the post of Deputy general secretary from DMK met Tamilnadu BJP president L Murugan after being appointed as the party vice-president for the state.

A two time Deputy speaker, he served as the Deputy Speaker of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly from 1989 to 1991 and 2006 to 2011. He was also a member of Rajya Sabha from 1995 to 2001 and also chairman of many legislature committees.

Recently, Paul Kanagaraj, who joined the BJP, has been appointed as the State Prosecutor’s Office and Secretary of State KT Raghavan, Karu Nagarajan, Selvakumar, and Srinivasan as the General Secretary of the BJP.
