Reliance to become net carbon-neutral by 2035: Mukesh Ambani at Reliance AGM

In its 43rd Annual General Meeting, Reliance Chairman, Mukesh Ambani announced that RIL will be a net carbon-neutral entity by 2035.

The energy industry must understand that fossil fuels and renewables are not mutually exclusive. The world needs access to clean and affordable energy. The energy industry must adopt a planet-friendly model. We are committed to convert CO2 emissions into high-value products. We are targeting to become net carbon-neutral by 2035, He said.

Reliance became the first Indian company to hit USD 150 Billion market cap.

In it’s AGM, the company announced major highlights and progress of the company including Google’s Rs 33,737 crore investment, JIO Glass, JIO mart among others.
